The 400D hoof remover is designed to efficiently remove hooves from the feet of cattle and calves. This process is typically performed immediately after scalding and hair removal using a La Parmentiere dehairing or hair-removal machine. These preliminary steps ensure the best possible results and maximum efficiency. While hooves can be removed without the hair being removed first, this requires a more powerful machine for optimal performance.
PERFORMANCE
The 400D hoof remover allows for quick and effortless hoof extraction, handling between 400 to 600 hooves per hour. This is achieved without the need for prior re-heating. However, if hooves are extracted cold, and hair has not been removed, a more powerful motor (1.5 hp) is required. In such cases, the output is reduced to approximately 200 to 300 hooves per hour.
